Melody knows a million bands (maybe more) and books bands for beautiful events.
She started out helping out with IKTOMS, a weekly unplugged night created by Kevin Molloy &
Nick Ward at The Liberties Bar (now The Camden Head). From there she moved onto booking for nights in Mornington Crescent and Mayfair before settling into some BAOBABS action at the Candid Arts Cafe. From there she co-created a night in Finsbury Park, where she met
Mathew Rigsby Smith, who asked her to co-organise
We Came Here To Save You, Utrophia's music night in the
Left Side of the Barn at Utrophia HQ. Melody was essential to We Came Here To Save You, finding and booking the lion's share of the acts for the events.
She plays drums and aspires
to write a childrens book ..one day.
