Tiffany is a live artist and
researcher. She is based in London and currently studying for a Masters
in Theatre and Performance at Queen Mary University of London. Her work
encompasses writing, installation and performance, and engages with the
encounter between performer and spectator in whatever form that may
take.
Events of 2010/2011Tiffany has had the pleasure of performing/collaborating with various companies and exceptional artists this year including:
Glorious created by
Rajni Shah Projects which featured as part of this years
SPILL Festival at The Barbican in London.
On Landguard Point a 'live and large scale' project based in the East of England as part of Cultural Olympiad by
Pacitti Company.
DIY 8: 2011 #dawnchorus was conceived by artist
Natasha Vicars , developed in collaboration with
Mary Paterson
and artists Tiffany Charrington,
Joanna Brown, Eddy Dreadnought, Sally Labern and
Tamarin Norwood. The project resulted
in a live performance on Twitter on Sunday 16th October starting at 5.35
am and ending approximately 8 am.

I shall see your houses
is an intimate encounter for one participant at a time repeated on
demand....Just like the contents of a house, it can be unpacked and
presented in a variety of spaces, leaving ephemeral traces and lingering
moments before departure.
It has featured at various platforms
and events including The Shunt Lounge, Wunderbar Festival in Newcastle
Upon Tyne and Live Art Speed Date Arcola.
The performance premiered at Utrophia as part of
Long Did I Build You…a festival of performance in May 2009. Tiffany co-curated the event with
Rosie Morris,
which consisted of; site specific live art, performance installation,
devised physical theatre, devised drama, experimental music and short
film. It was adapted in 2010 as
I shall see your houses: Part 2 for the National festival
Museums at Night at The Viewfinder Photography gallery in South East London.
Upcoming Performances I was only thinking of you..."witty and intruiging"
Mischa Twitchin Shunt I was only thining of you... is a
consequential game for two. An exploration of the transient moments we
have with strangers and our desire to make a lasting impression. This
performance will feature as part of the December
Live Art Speed Date at Stoke
Newington International Airport.
