The Beginning
In the winter of 2003 Ben Cummins had obtained the keys to a warehouse space situated in Greenwich on the grounds of Skillions Wharf, beside Deptford creek. Named 'The Engine House' due to a being a fire engine factory up to the 1960's. Jake had then soon came on board and together they began build their bedrooms. These came in the form of pods that looked down onto a floor that would serve numerous artists, bands and most importantly a good five year pounding of dancing feet!
Dominantly the space was utilised by bands rehearsing. One such band happened to be there the night Ben had moved in. They were called the 'Naciente Quartet' of which consisted of Steve, Gavin, Ally & Rob. These dudes platformed a fortnightly arts events in the once 'Time bar' of Greenwich. The night was named 'Utrophia'.

The End

The reason for our leaving was due to the fact that the site had been bought by Galliard Homes. Well known for going around London and building really bland unimaginative, low cost, highly expensive flats. There had been an ongoing battle and they finally got permission pushed through by good laywers and a lame promise that it would remain partly industrial.

We always joked that we would be saved by an economic crash that would start in 2007 and then they wouldn't have enough money to knock the place down. After we received notice of when we'd have to be out at the end of December, the prediction turned into the comical affair that our timing was botched and the crash would happen just  so that Galliard homes would be able to knock the place down and then run out of money so the place would just be a pile of bricks and this is exactly what happened.
