- review from alan's first performance at utrophia at the 291: 'alan played utrophia's november 2003 night and were in every way exceptional. originally a brighton based band alan recently reformed and we all say 'good job'. entering to queen's 'it's a kind of magic' each band member took to the stage in their own warped freddie mercury uniform. their music challenges not only the audience but itself, bursting with energy, impatient and constantly demanding more. beautiful, menacing, humorous and theatrical the set was amazing and we look forward to having them again.'
