hotchip: hotchip combine electro and live beats with analogue synths and guitar, interlaced with melodious and lyrically sharp witted vocal harmonies. they kicked off utrophia's programme of live acts at the 291 gallery alongside 'the naciente quartet' and have played in varied venues across london, including the union chapel in islington supporting smog. their live sound is tight, clear and bursting at the seams with flava. haven't heard from them in a while no idea what they're up to, hopefully still keeping up the music.
