i could
do better than that: iivix is part of the i could do better than
that collective who host a series of nights most recently through at the Foundry,
Old Street. their sets revolve around the concept of 'i am nobody, now you can
be nobody as well' inviting members of the audience to come up and take over the
instruments if they feel that they could do better. encouraging spontaneity and
the creation of glorious 'lost songs'. their recent activities involve encouraging
audience participation through the journey of creating a newspaper hat, the final
destination being one of community and kindred spirit.-
