As part of 'The Heartfelt Four', who played at one of utrophia's events at the 291 Gallery, 'Rigsby Smith' has been elemental in improv jams at the Utrophia Project Space, as well as both CWM festivals and also features on Utrophia Compilation 02. Here's something about his work in his own words.

'Now primarily a recording musician and composer, previously in a host of instrumental groups since 1997, prior to that writing, recording and performing instrumental, vocal and soundscape style music. Occasional live performances occur, working with a range of instrumentation, variously in duos, trios, quartets, sextets... Also a painter, live and recording engineer, producer and occasional internet and live DJ as well as providing parts on glockenspiel, percussion and guitar as a session musician. Currently recording own long player, working with an ouddist/percussionist/fellow composer, engineering for a singer/songwriter and greatly enjoying nights of collaborative improvisation.'
