thulani shuku hails from capetown, south africa and during his stay in london has been using the utrophia project space to work. he creates colourful compositions on found objects, conveying an organic non-static vibrancy to his work. his show 'shungu' was presented at the project space to much critical acclaim. prints of his work have been included in the utrophia compilation 03 box set. he has drummed for coy carp burger at the bear cafe and is resident dj at many of utrophia's events.
